On Jan. 16, a cadre conference was held by Wuxi Culture, Radio, TV and Tourist Administration (WCRTTA), at which Yuan Fei, the member of Wuxi Standing Committee and director of Publicity Department delivered a speech. Cui Rongguo, vice director of Organization Department of Wuxi Party Committee declared personnel adjustment of Wuxi Party Committee that the Party Committee of Wuxi Culture, Radio, TV and Tourist Administration was set up while the Party group of Wuxi Culture, Radio, TV, Press and Publication Administration and Party Committee of Wuxi Tourist Administration were withdrawn. Jiang Yunjie was appointed as the secretary of Party Committee of WCRTTA, nominee of Chief of WCRTTA and Chief of Wuxi Cultural Heritage Bureau, Li Xiaohong appointed as deputy director of WCRTTA, and Gao Yan, Liu Yonghong, Zong Fei, Yang Jianguo, Guo Xuming and Ping Weidong appointed as deputy directors and members of its Party Committee.

In his speech, Yuan Fei pointed out that establishing WCRTTA was the implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important statement on deepening the reform of Party and National institutions and important measure to push the reform of local institutions forward. The appointment was made after full consideration, which was required in construction of cadres team and institutional reform, and Wuxi Party Committee also attached great importance and has high expectation to the related work.

As to the work on the next stage, Yuan also put forward 4 requirements. First, we should support the reform consistently. With the overall situation taken into consideration, we should realize the necessity and urgency of building WCRTTA and make sure that our thoughts and actions are in compliance with decisions and arrangements made by the Party Committees of Wuxi city, Jiangsu province and even the Central Government. Second, we should establish the new department carefully and orderly. Assuming office today, the personnel should carry out their work immediately. Transfer scheme should be studied and made in time, and staff transferred by the end of this month. Third, we should make great effort to explore a new situation of cultural tour. Resources should be integrated and regional cooperation carried out. Measures should be taken to create new advantages and concepts of local cultural and tourist industry. Economic, social and ecological benefits should be combined to bring new changes and effects to the people. Fourth, responsibilities should be taken, initiative activated, discipline implemented so as to build a solid and incorruptible team of leaders and cadres. 

 Jiang Yunjie, on behalf of the leadership, said that they would implement the decisions and arrangements made by Wuxi Party Committee. The importance and urgency of institutional reform is fully realized and all the transfer tasks should be fulfilled. New concepts and high quality are highlighted to ensure further development. Forces should be concentrated to develop the cultural tourism development. With resources integrated, work path innovated, the local tourism is to be enriched with culture which is promoted by tourism. With great enthusiasm and initiative, leaders should take the responsibilities, strengthen Party self-discipline and self-supervision, promote Party building, and implement eight regulations of austerity and democratic centralism, so as to create a well beginning for the cultural, radio, TV and tourist work in 2019.

She also emphasized that it was a key conference and great event in the development of the cause. After that, the whole system in Wuxi would understand the spirit of the speech, implement the arrangements made by the Party Committee, and endeavor to make more contributions to the cause.
